Cherish Pichetrungsi (Viewpoint School- 9th Grade) has attended the center various amounts of times since she heard about the center from a friend. She continuously volunteers to help out at the center, tutoring kids and participating in extra activities provided for the kids. She enjoys interacting with the students at Zeitgeist and loves helping others and seeing the positive outcomes. She manages to develop strong relationships with the students while maintaining a positive attitude in helping the kids in the academic field, yet being open to help with any types of personal issues. Cherish also shares her strong interest in art and continuously takes fine art classes, making her main focus in the artistic field. Along with many other mentors at ZCLC, she is an honors student at Viewpoint School.
Michelle Germain
Michelle Germain (Viewpoint School- 9th Grade) is a high honors student at Viewpoint High School and swims competitively both for her school as well as for a club team. She has continuously participated in all visits to the center and all parties provided for the students at Zeitgeist. She enjoys interacting with the kids and helping them with any problems they have in school or in their personal lives. She is looking forward to working at Zeitgeist over the next three years and getting to know the students and see them develop into well-rounded young adults.
Hunter Pritchard
(Viewpoint School – 9th Grade) Hunter combines excellent academic achievements, sports, and helping others in his balanced life and work schedule. He is extremely proud of the Community Service Award he won at Viewpoint School. Hunter intends to pursue studies in International Business and marketing at college. Hunter’s greatest pleasure with working with the kids at Zeitgeist and plans on keeping his commitment to the center throughout his high school career.
Jared Stern
Jared has been dedicated and a part of ZCLC for over 5 years. He has mentored, tutored, and planned swim a thons, parties, field trips and genuinely loved being with the children of Zeitgeist. His life has been changed because of the wonderful friendships he has made with the children. He hopes they will continue to seek his help, advice and friendship even after graduating.
Jared is an honor student in the 11th grade at Viewpoint School in Calabasas. He is a year round swimmer on the Calabasas Waves and also swims for his school team. He has qualified for Junior Olympics, medaled at the National Maccabi Games and qualified for and participated in the finales of CIF the last two years. Through NAUI (National Association of Underwater Instructors) and PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) Jared has accomplished over 13 certifications in scuba diving.
Jared also regularly participates in Triathlons and long distance bike rides (25 to 50 miles). This year he helped to secure for his team (LA Triathlon Club) the National Championship in Las Vegas. Jared is looking forward to being a Marine Biologist with a specialty in the Environment.
